This little gem is from 1984 ( I am a child of the 80s) and was filmed not to far from where I grew up. Its the finish of the 1984 World XC Championships. They were held on the horse racing track of the Meadowlands in Secaucus, NJ (right next door to Giant Stadium)
The participants are some of the biggest names in XC and running. From this group we would see a future Olympic marathon Gold medalist and as well marathon world record holder.
